MOUTH ULCER REMEDY IN HOMEOPATHY

 



Mouth ulcers also known as “canker sores”, “oral ulcers”, “aphthous ulcers”, are lesions that form in your mouth. These sores become painful because the nerves below the surface lining of your mouth gets exposed.

They are white or yellow in the center and are surrounded with a bright red lining.

The pain associated with these ulcers can make life troublesome creating trouble even while eating, drinking or talking.

The most prominent places where these mouth ulcers form are inside of lips, cheeks, at the base of the gums, under the tongue or on the palate.

Mouth ulcers are non contagious. Sometimes  mouth ulcers can form over the tongue as well.

Types of Mouth Ulcers

Minor Ulcers

Minor ulcers ulcers are small, round and oval in shape. Can cause minor pain and heal within 1-2 weeks

Major Ulcers

Major ulcers are bigger and penetrate the skin much deeper than the minor ulcers. Their shape is irregular and may take several weeks to clear up and leave a scar.

Herpetiform

Not common but are extremely painful and leave a scarring as they clear up. They are recurrent in nature.

Usually they are self healing and go away within a duration of 2-3 weeks. But if they constantly recur and  don’t heal on their own, medical help is advised.

Dryness in mouth
Swelling in mouth
Bleeding from the ulcer
Bad odour
